Dr. Murphy Joins FPM Institute

Miles Murphy, MD recently completed his three-year fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Louisville and obtained a Masters of Science in Public Health at the University of Louisville. He is a graduate of Clinical Psychology from Tufts University. Following two years of bench research at the University of Pennsylvania in Urology under Dr. Alan Wein, he attended medical school at the University of Pittsburgh.He is a native of the Philadelphia area and was a resident in OBGYN at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown, PA. He has extensive training in minimally invasive surgical procedures and clinical research for female incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse. Dr. Murphy has a special interest in neuro-urology. He has already been recognized as an emerging leader in the surgical management of refractory urgency and frequency using neuromodulation.
